Leadership and Safe Practices – Enhancement Program for Supervisors and Workers

This training, made possible thanks to the collaboration of the Visées program and the firm Alphard – VisionÈre, offers modules that enable you to:

  • Develop safety leadership skills among supervisors and workers;
  • Strengthen everyday safety practices through a proactive approach;
  • Equip participants to identify, assess and control risks in the workplace;
  • Promote a culture of prevention and shared responsibility within teams;
  • Increase supervisors’ ability to positively influence safe behavior.

 

What to expect

The program is structured around progressive modules combining theory, role-playing, and practical tools:

  1. Introduction to safety leadership
  • Health and safety roles and responsibilities.
  • Differences between management, supervision and leadership.
  1. Fundamental safety practices
  • Prevention principles and hierarchy of control measures.
  • Identifying and reporting risks.
  1. Team communication and mobilization
  • Clear and effective communication techniques.
  • Approaches to building trust and collaboration.
  1. Observation and constructive feedback
  • Observing safe behaviors.
  • Giving and receiving constructive feedback.
  1. Incident management and root cause analysis
  • Structured investigation and analysis process.
  • Organizational learning from events.
  1. Best practices and continuous improvement
  • Case studies and real-life scenarios.
  • Development of safety action plans.

Financial assistance available
Thanks to our partnership with the Visées program, financial assistance of up to $8,000 per employee is available, covering up to 100% of training registration fees and 50% of the employee’s salary during training hours.
