Rivière-du-Loup, November 26, 2025 – The members of the board of directors of Les Halles d’innovation et de formation avancée (HIFA) are proud to announce the appointment of Mr. Rock Moisan as the organization’s general manager.
With over 35 years of experience in the manufacturing sector, including a notable stint as senior management advisor at Cascades, Mr. Moisan joins the team to ensure the continuity of the organization’s mission and propel its future development.
Mr. Moisan’s expertise in management, optimization and innovation aligns perfectly with Les Halles’ primary mission of supporting the digital transformation and productivity of businesses through the deployment of automated and robotic solutions.
“Rock’s experience at a flagship company like Cascades is a major asset for HIFA,” said Gilles Déry, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Innovation Center. “He fully understands the innovation challenges facing our manufacturing companies in Quebec. His leadership ensures continuity in our daily activities while bringing a concrete business perspective for the future.”
The Board of Directors would also like to express its deep gratitude and sincere thanks to Mr. Rémi Massé for his dedication and the founding vision he brought to HIFA.

The official inauguration was held on June 27, 2024, in the presence of dignitaries from both levels of government.
